On the 4 hour plane ride followed by an hour and a half wait for a gate, I had more than enough time to read basically every fashion and style magazine in the Hudson News store. In Lucky Magazine there was an article on Katie Nehra's fabulous prewar apartment and being in the middle of a room redesign I took a special interest. Her apartment is absolutely to die for from her hot pink dining room to her classy but chic office space. Her style is a really tasteful rebel look with classic furniture but outrageous colors and accessories. Here are some of the featured spaces...

{Cable Car Ride}

It was 3 hours in line to hope on a cable car and cling on for my life! It was terrifying and so much fun at the same time. Not to mention that the cable car driver had an anger management problem and almost ran over a lady in a car plus San Fran has so many hills! Why would someone build a city on like dozens of hills?

Muir Woods + An Amazing Beach

If you didn't know the Muir Woods is a nation park home to hundreds of red wood trees. In the picture above I am standing inside of one its HUGE! In the park we hikes 6 miles up a Mountain and It was exhausting a breath taking, here are some pictures...

{The Amazing Beach} 

So we were trying to get to a town called Tiburon for dinner and we had some time to kill. So, as usual my Dad took us on a 3 hour detour to see some light house that we couldn't find. Along the way we found multiple cows, cliffs and wildflowers. Then, we stumbled upon a breath taking beach! I absolutely love the ocean and walking on the beach (how cheesy but I love it!) The water in California was frigid but I still wish I could of hoped in; however, the beach was full of sharks, rip tides, and sneaker waves (what ever those are).

Stuck on an Airplane

Airplanes are not my favorite place, I am not what you would call a docile person. I am constantly moving, talking, and observing; airplanes are not the best place to do any of these things. On a airplane you are seated in cramped seats with people on either sides of you sleeping or doing other mindless busy work to stop the boredom from creeping in. This leaves you minimal room for the occasional squirm or wiggle not to mention the ever so awkward I have to use the bathroom forcing someone from their slumber or tiny tower to stand (what a drag standing is) and let you past. Now for the talking problem, if your next to one of those chatty old ladies all you want is to stop talking; however, more often than not the person in either side of you will be totally oblivious to the outside world plugged in to their various "i things". 

You could be thinking, why can't you observe on an airplane their are plenty of people (you are also probably wondering why on earth you would be thinking something so peculiar). Well, on an airplane there are chairs and other people blocking your view of any thing and people on an airplane are not doing anything worth paying attention to.  So here I am plugged into my iPhone, blogging on my iPad (another mindless person plugged in to my "i things") At least I am preoccupied but there is no wifi to speak of so I can't exactly post this until I am no longer on stuck on this air plane.

Comming Home From San Fran

Happy New Years!

So I am currently sitting in a airport restaurant overjoyed that I finally have internet connection. In the beautiful but hilly city of San Fransico there was no wifi for a week so I could not do any blog posts or anything of that nature. Also, when we went up in the surrounding mountains to visit towns or Santa Clara there wasn't even cell phone service to check out Instagram or Pinterest. Let's just say family time was plentiful on this vacation stuffed into the back seat of a Chevy Equinox with my family of five. Overall San Francisco is a beautiful place, in so,e places it is over crowded and dirty so we tried to avoid those places. I will have a mini series recapping my days in Sam Francisco equip with photos and outfits of the day stay tuned!
