Outfits of Christmas!

I hope all of your Christmases were AMAZING! Mine was one of the best I have ever had, I am so grateful for all of my family and friends that were part of my Christmas season. So here are the outfits I wore to spread my christmas cheer!

This outfit was worn to a Christmas Eve brunch with a bunch of family friends.

Well the Most Stressful Time of My life is Over

This year the week before, during, and after mid-terms have been the most stressful things I had ever experienced! The week before, I had a test everyday and a bunch of random essays and projects due. The two days before finals I had four tests and an essay due plus intense finals studying. Then, during finals it was finals so you know how that is. This weekend was also supper busy with christmas cookie making, family dinners, sleep deprivation (from the two weeks before) and two sleepovers (that did not help with the lack of sleep)! Sorry I haven't been posting! It is a New Year's resolution to get better!

It was so stressful my friend found a grey hair! Keep in mind she is 15, school is so hard!  And it was so hard to pull it out, what a traumatic experience!

Reinventing the Blog

Oh my goodness I am actually posting! What has it been like a month, I am so unorganized! So as it says in today's title I am reinventing the blog. If you are a returning viewer you can see that the blog scheme is very different, I was getting bored with my old blog so I thought I would mix it up a bit tell me if you like it! Going to State!

So as I said in my last post, my school canceled classes for the day so we could go and cheer on our soccer team in the finals. It is the farthest the team had ever made it so it was so exciting and they won so I am going to the state game today! Here are some pictures from yesterday...

I Finally Did It!

Ok everyone, I finally did it! I ordered a puffer vest from j.crew! I know that I am about a billion years behind the preppy curve on this one because everyone and their mother already has one from either j.crew, Burberry, Madewell or any other preppy store. A few posts ago I posted my ideal fall uniform and it had the puffer vest I ordered. So, now it will be completed and that is probably my go to weekend outfit until it is too cold (I have a dress code during the week).

I'm Back!

I am so sorry that I have been away for so long! It is due to an unfortunate string of events, two weekends ago I had a Model UN conference in St. Louis so I couldn't blog. Then my laptop broke and was out of commission all of last week and I really hate blogging on my ipad. Finally over the weekend I got a concussion at my soccer game, so I was pretty much checked out. 

I am feeling better and I really needed to blog since I have been gone for over a week! I have had one good blog worthy day since my last post, I went to an apple orchard! Me and three of my friends took the hour and a half drive out to an apple orchard on Friday ( I didn't have school). It was so much fun and we took a TON of pictures hear are some of them...

Why Do I Love It When The Leaves Fall?

For as long as I can remember I have always loved it when the leaves change colors and begin to fall but this year everything about fall seems so much more magical. It might be because I am getting older  so, fall just seems so beautiful and romantic (the falling leaves are probably the most romantic part of all). I read some where that the pheromone that makes the leaves change color is called ruska, I mean how much more adorable could that name be? The name for when the leaves fall is so rustic and it feels so fall-like. Anyway here are some pictures of my favorite thing...

Fall Uniform!

On a lot of blogs I have seen people posting their fall uniforms and I really enjoy seeing them so I made one. It is my ideal fall outfit! I love wear basic dark jeans, my hunters, a striped sweater (I want to buy this one in particular), a puffer vest and my Michael Kors watch. I got the watch for christmas last year and it is a fall staple for me!

I know I have been sort of random with my blog posts (I say this literally every post) but I am trying to do better I don't know how some bloggers can do it every single day! 

Anyway, for this award you are supposed to give seven facts about yourself. This will be fun for both of us because you don't really know much about me! So lets dive in...

1. I have a HUGE family but only on my dad's side. He is one of 12 children (the llth kid to be exact) so I have 23 Aunts and Uncles and 48 first cousins! I love my entire family though and we see each other all of the time!

2. I been playing soccer since pre-school and club soccer since second grade!

3. I have played basically every single sport at one point in my life! Even Squash (with Newt Gingrich's granddaughter)!

4. My favorite color is yellow because of how happy it is :) I never wear it though

5. I am absolutely in love with Fall! The changing of leaves makes me so happy ahh it is perfect!

6. I know a TON of random fun facts that won't help me in life! Like did you know that, the crime rate in Quebec is the same as the crime rate in Disney World? How can I remember this?

7. I have a labradoodle named ginger! She was on the news when the president was trying to decide what kind of dog he wanted! #starstruck

Pumpkin Cake!

Well the weekends over :( and I don't have Columbus Day off! What kind of world is this? Uggghh catholic school! Well anyway sorry about my mini rant, I have been either in my kitchen or on the soccer field for the entire weekend. I am feeling the joy (my new ketch-phrase Grays Anatomy shout out) and I made an awesome cake! It is two bundt cakes stacked on top of each other.

A little back story...

So I am a supper big baker and a few month ago I was looking through the food section of Pinterest when I stubbled upon a picture of a pumpkin cake. But, the most annoying thing about Pinterest happened and it brought me to tumblr so there wasn't a recipe! I was determined to make it work so, on Friday during french (I had a sub.) I spent the entire period doing research and I found a recipe for a bundt and for recipe, on two different blogs may I add. 

The two bundts I made were apple cider donut bundts and the frosting was a maple cream cheese frosting. Here are my pictures of baking whoop whoop!
